3 new Chrome features to help you get more useful search suggestions: based on what others are looking for, and even when your internet connection leaves something to be desired.

So, search suggestions based on what other users are searching for.

When you open a new tab on your desktop in Chrome, you’ll see suggestions in the Google search box related to your previous searches based on similar queries by other users. For example, if you recently searched for “Japchae,” you may see suggestions for other popular Korean dishes. Taking the same query as an example, additional suggested results are on the right-hand side under “People also search,” and include other popular Korean dishes such as Tteok-bokki, Bulgogi, and Bibimbap.

The ability to see more images for suggested searches.

Previously, Chrome only displayed images for search suggestions in the address bar that matched the specific product you were searching for, such as “Ikea Dining Table.” But what if you don’t have a specific table in mind, but you know you want something in a traditional style? On Android and iOS, Chrome will now show helpful images for broader shopping categories and products based on simpler searches, such as “traditional dining table.”

Find search suggestions even when you have a poor connection.

When your phone has a poor internet connection, you can’t always access the information you need. Chrome on Android and iOS now has an improved experience even when your network connection is poor. You’ll also get more useful suggestions when you’re in incognito mode.

So what, new features in your browser and on search are new ways to find the information and inspiration you need…
